WHQOPMAN 1-01 is the official doctrine and operations manual of WALRUS Headquarters. Written in the style of a military headquarters publication, it takes the lessons, humor, experiences, and philosophy of the WALRUS world and turns them into a practical mission: recognize preventable trouble before it becomes a life-changing disaster.

At its heart, the manual is about people helping people. WALRUS does not measure success by confrontations or recognition. It measures success by the disasters that never happen—the paycheck that remains protected, the family that stays together, the career that continues, and the person whose future changes because someone recognized the warning signs and acted in time.

The manual teaches readers to recognize patterns associated with financial exploitation, emotional manipulation, scams, isolation, manufactured emergencies, rapid emotional attachment, impaired judgment, and other situations in which a person may be vulnerable to making a decision they later regret.
